School Cancellation Hot Line The School Cancellation Hot Line for Montgomery County Schools is: 381-6578. This is important because the Blacksburg Sports Club meetings will follow the county school policy regarding weather cancellations. If schools are closed because of inclement weather, the Sports Club will not meet. If, however, school opening is merely delayed we WILL meet. The Simple Rule: If Montgomery County Schools are closed at noon because of inclement weather, there will be no BSC meeting that day. |

Dedication of David Crist Field On October 3, 2009, David Crist was recognized for his 35 years of service to the Blacksburg Community. As a football coach, and a quality human being, David has molded and shaped three generations of young men. The lessons that David taught are far broader than "X's and O's" on the football field... they are lessons for life itself.
